Why is your academy on MATCO?
MATCO, the Martial Arts Travel Collective, is the martial arts directory that travels with you. Martial artists use it to find academies, instructors and drop-in classes down the street or across the world, and to book retreats that take their training further. We list academies using the information they publish on their own website, so people can find you.
Nothing about your page changes until you claim it. Once you do, you decide what it says.

Who can claim a page?

Is it really free?
Yes. Listing, claiming and editing your page are free. No contracts and no card.
Who created my page?
MATCO did, from information your academy publishes publicly, such as your website. Claiming lets you correct or add anything.
Which email does the claim link go to?
The email listed on your MATCO page. If that's not the right inbox, tell us in the form and we'll verify you another way.
I can't access that inbox. What now?
Tick "I can't open the academy's listed email" in the form. We'll confirm you're with the academy and send the link to an address you can open.
Can I log in with my personal email?
Yes. After you open the claim link, sign up with any email you like.
What can I change?
Description, schedule link, drop-in policy, photos, social links and disciplines update right away. Changes to your address or listed email are checked by MATCO first, to protect travelers.
Can I list my instructors?
Yes. Add them from your portal. Each instructor gets a profile with their background, rank and social links, and they can take it over with their own login.
Can more than one person manage our page?
Yes. Once you've claimed it, invite managers, coaches and staff. Each person gets their own login.
What about hosting or listing a retreat?
MATCO is a marketplace for martial arts retreats as well as a directory. Claim your page first. Your portal then walks you through hosting a team retreat (MATCO handles the resort, logistics and payments) or listing a retreat you already run, each with its own booking page and secure checkout.
How long does the claim link last?
30 days, and it works once. Need a new one? Request it again.
