Gracie Tampa South MMA & BJJ is located at 1345 W Gray St in South Tampa and has been operating for over 17 years. It is a branch of the Gracie Tampa family of academies and was opened by Matt Arroyo together with his mentor, Rob Kahn. The academy offers training for adults and children across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (gi and no-gi), MMA, Muay Thai and kickboxing, boxing, wrestling, judo and yoga.
Kids are served through the Little Ninja and Big Ninja programs, plus an afterschool program and summer camp. The academy also hosts the Tampa BJJ Immersion Experience, a four-day small-group training intensive run by Matt Arroyo at the academy.
