Ruffhouse Jiu-Jitsu Columbus is located at 145 S Stygler Rd in Gahanna, on the northeast side of Columbus, and moved into this facility in June 2025 after expanding twice since its founding in 2011. The academy is veteran-owned and led by Chris Larkin, a 2nd-degree black belt under Arthur Ruff of Ruffhouse Jiu-Jitsu in Mesa, Arizona, who continues to compete.
Programs cover Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids (Panda Cubs and Panda Jr. Cubs), teens and adults in gi and no-gi, a women-only BJJ class, adult striking (Muay Thai, MMA and boxing), youth wrestling and private lessons. The team page lists nine additional instructors, and the academy's Instagram shows regular tournament results from both adult and kids divisions as well as Tap Cancer Out fundraising.
