Matt Arroyo is the owner and head instructor of Gracie Tampa South, which he opened with his mentor Rob Kahn. He competed on The Ultimate Fighter season 6 (Team Serra) and fought in the UFC, earning Submission of the Night at the TUF 6 Finale in 2007. He received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Rob Kahn in 2009 and also runs an online academy and instructional courses.
