Sean Fagan has spent his career fighting, teaching and building The Muay Thai Guy into one of the biggest Muay Thai communities in the world. He has run training camps in Thailand for years; this is the Costa Rica version, and it's built the same way — train hard, eat well, recover in the sun.
Each day at Jungle's Edge has two sessions: technique and pad work in the morning, then clinch, sparring rounds and conditioning in the afternoon or evening. Sessions are scaled, so fighters and first-year students train side by side. Between sessions you're minutes from Playa Guiones for a swim or a surf, and there's a cold plunge waiting at the top of the hill. Dinner is with Sean and the group every night. You don't need to belong to any gym to join.
