Not every training trip needs a group or a fixed schedule. A Train-cation is a martial arts trip you design yourself: your dates, your room, your level of training and the extras you want. It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, friends and small groups, and it’s one of the easiest ways to experience Jungle’s Edge in Nosara, Costa Rica.
1. Choose your dates
Travel whenever it works for you. Pick your arrival and departure dates and build the rest of the trip around your schedule. Most guests fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR), about two and a half hours from Nosara.
2. Choose your stay
Pick the room that fits your travel style, from a private Jungle Queen room with A/C to a Casita that sleeps four, an open-air Glamping Hut, or the two-bedroom Lotus Grande with its own kitchen.
3. Choose your package
- Silver: Train. Explore. Repeat. Daily breakfast, one martial arts class per day and full access to resort amenities. Great if you want plenty of time to surf and explore Nosara.
- Gold: Train. Eat. Recover. Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily plus unlimited martial arts training. Built for people who came to train.
Classes include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi and No-Gi), Muay Thai and yoga, taught in small groups for all levels.

5. Send your request
Once you’ve built your trip, send the request. MATCO confirms availability with Jungle’s Edge and gets back to you to finalize your reservation.
